Pain
Management Teaching System
Teaching
System Includes:
•
Pain Management Adapter
•
Spine and Iliac Crest Overlay
•
Instructional binder with color graphics of epidural
and intrathecal procedures along with back anatomy
transparencies
The
Pain Management adapter fits over the front and
back torso. A site in the spinal area allows the
insertion of a catheter. Tubing located under
the fabric allows the catheter to run to a simulated
pain pump located in the abdominal area of the
adapter.
The
Spine and Iliac Crest overlay fits on the back
of the adapter. A site in the spine corresponds
with the site in the adapter through which the
catheter can be inserted.
The
Instructional Binder depicts the skeletal and
muscular anatomy of the back and spine by means
of detailed colored graphics and transparencies.
The epidural and intrathecal graphics are each
in the form of lateral cutaways clearly indicating
the epidural and intrathecal spaces in the spine.
Each graphic is designed with a tube that allows
the insertion of a catheter into the respective
space. This allows a simple yet exact explanation
of the procedure. (Catheters not included)
